Psychotherapy

Residents who can participate in and benefit from this service must have Medicare/Medicaid or Medicare and an approved supplemental or Medicare with the family willing to pay co-pay by credit card.

Psychopharmacology

Residents who have a diagnosis which requires this service and who can benefit from this service, must have Medicare/Medicaid or Medicare and an approved supplemental or Medicare with the family willing to pay co-pay by credit card.

Family Therapy

Residents who have a diagnosis which requires this service and who can benefit from this service, must have Medicare/Medicaid or Medicare and an approved supplemental or Medicare with the family willing to pay co-pay by credit card.

Mental Health Screen

Mental Health screening at time of admission will provide the facility with documentation that all residents are screened for dementia. This is also a tool for the staff to design their treatment approach for the resident’s care. If the facility wishes to have SPC provide psychotherapy or psychopharmacology, a referral will need to be made to SPC.

BORRELL COGNITIVE NEURO INTERVIEW (BCNI)

The BCNI will be administered to all SPC residents as a means of determining level of cognitive functioning and impairment. This services involves an assessment by the Medical team, a computerized test, and the interpretation of the results by a Texas Licensed Psychologist. The results will have treatment recommendations for our staff to design a treatment program or modality to effectively serve the resident’s needs.

Hospice Services

At this time, SPC does not provide services to residents in Hospice. However, if a hospice organization wishes to pay for our services, SPC will consider providing the service.

Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Tricare

Co-pays by Credit Card

SPC will accept co-pays from families who desire the services we offer and who are willing to pay the co-pay. All payments are by Credit Card and are charged in advance with a refund if the services are not provided
